Belfast

Belfast

Belfast is the capital and the largest city of Northern Ireland and has about 268 300 inhabitants. The city is located in the county of Ulster and on the flood pain of the river Lagan. Belfast is famous for its shipyards where was built, in 1911, the Titanic, the biggest ship in the world before it sank. If you want to visit Belfast, you should visit the City Hall, the Queen’s University or the Grand Opera House. However, museums aren’t very interesting as a big part of Belfast’s history, the Civil War, can be seen on « murals », paints on the walls of Belfast. Tourists can discover the streets with colorful shops but can also spend their time in irish pubs.
